Built in a workshop, not a boardroom.

IC Alchemy builds instruments. Some of them are finished products, some are experiments, and all of them are documented here.

The workshop rule is simple: if something is worth building, it is worth explaining. Project pages carry the explanation, the source, and the design files. The journal carries the process, including the dead ends.

Licensing

Firmware and site code are published under the GPL-3.0, so anyone can build from them, modify them, and share them, provided they share what they change. Writing and photographs are CC BY-SA 4.0 unless a project page says otherwise. Hardware designs are moving to an open hardware license as each project gets its files in order, and each project page states plainly what is licensed today.

How this site behaves

Plain files, no trackers, no cookies, no newsletter popups, no autoplay. Nothing on this site phones home, and nothing here will start making noise without you asking it to.

If you make something from any of it, write and say so. That is the most interesting mail that arrives.
